Weekend Caregiver

Do you have a heart for helping others live safely and joyfully at home? Comfort Keepers Home Care in Shelby, NC is seeking compassionate, proactive caregivers to join our trusted team for weekend shifts, which may include 12-hour shifts.

What You’ll Do as a Caregiver:

At Comfort Keepers, caregiving is more than a job—it’s a calling. You’ll provide one-on-one care that helps seniors maintain independence, dignity, and comfort in their own homes. Responsibilities include:

Personal Care:

Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, mobility, feeding, and other hands-on personal care needs while promoting independence.

Cognitive Support:

Provide compassionate care for clients with dementia using proven techniques to ensure safety and emotional comfort.

Companionship & Household Support:

Prepare meals, provide medication reminders, assist with light housekeeping, and offer meaningful companionship.

You’ll build trusted relationships, support families, and make every shift truly impactful.

Who We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking reliable and proactive caregivers who are passionate about making a difference. To be considered, candidates should:

  • Have previous caregiving experience (preferred)

  • Be available to work weekend shifts, including potential 12-hour shifts

  • Be comfortable providing hands-on personal care

  • Demonstrate initiative, empathy, patience, and reliability

CNA, HHA, and PCA experience is a plus—but heart and dedication matter most.
