HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
The Senior Pricing Analyst will be a key contributor within the Pricing function of the Analytics & Insights team, supporting data-driven pricing decisions across Varsity Spirit. This role reports to the Director of Pricing and provides analytical, strategic, and operational support to pricing initiatives across apparel and events. The Senior Pricing Analyst will partner closely with cross-functional teams to assess needs, evaluate opportunities, and execute pricing strategies that support revenue and margin goals. The role requires strong analytical rigor, clear communication, and the ability to manage the full lifecycle of pricing analyses.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Support pricing strategy and execution across all Varsity Spirit products and services, including team apparel, retail products, and camp / competition registrations
Own and conduct core pricing and revenue growth management analytics
Lead end-to-end analytics for pricing initiatives: data gathering, model development, analysis, validation, and presentation of insights.
Provide strong and timely analytical support and clear recommendations to key partners such as Sales, Marketing, Product Design, and Finance.
Conduct industry and competitive research to develop a fact base on market conditions, customer trends, and pricing benchmarks.
Build, maintain, and enhance pricing and performance reporting, dashboards, and scorecards across business units and product categories.
Identify, monitor, and communicate KPIs related to pricing, volume, mix, margins, and customer behavior to guide decision-making.
Support pricing governance by monitoring execution, conducting post-mortems, and evaluating the impact of implemented strategies.
Contribute to overall growth and goals of the broader Analytics & Insights Team
QUALIFICATIONS:
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Demonstrated knowledge of financial modeling, margin analysis and data visualization
Advanced in Excel; Power BI and VBA programming experience a plus
Strong problem solving and analytical skills; comfortable working with large data sets
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication along with presentation skills
Ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization
Experience in market research
Exposure to using AI prompts and models to enhance workflows or analysis a plus
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, economics, marketing, or related quantitative field required
Analytical experience required; preferably in pricing, revenue management, or finance
