WORK TYPE: Full-time


LOCATION: Remote, United States


TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: Event travel and attendance at staff meetings & trainings is required. Event travel will include overnight stays for events.


COMPENSATION: $46,000-$55,000

The base salary will vary based on criteria such as education, experience and qualifications of the applicant, location, internal equity, and alignment with the market.


HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

The Scoring Experience Specialist is important member of our Varsity All Star Scoring team, ultimately responsible for answering all customer scorings question before, during and after all Varsity All Star events in their region.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Oversees Scoring for all events in their region

  • Serve in an Accuscore role at events in their region

  • Staffs AccuScore Official and Judge Stand Manager at Varsity All Star events in their region using Salesforce/UKG

  • Follow the Standard Operating Procedures, and the allotted number of Accuscore and Judge Stand Manager personnel required

  • Assist the Regional Director of All Star Experience for all post event scoring concerns from events within their region

  • Works closely with the regional offices to identify any scoring issues or concerns that need to be addressed with customers

  • Works with the Regional offices to confirm AccuScore Officials and Judge Stand Managers

  • Follows up with AccuScore Officials post event to identify the most frequently asked questions that need additional coaches and/or judges training

  • Works with the Scoring Experience Supervisor to provide additional training to judges that need it

  • Informs the National Scoring Director, Scoring Experience Supervisor, and Regional Customer Experience department/GM of any major scoring issues that effected rankings/bids at events

  • Evaluates AccuScore Officials in their region at the end of each season

  • Plays a main role in Judges Training/Curriculum

  • Identify and recruit new AccuScore Officials in their region each season

  • Ability to create and/or oversee event schedules in SalesForce

  • Reviews and files all AccuScore logs, from the events in their region, into SalesForce

  • Serves in a support role at events

  • Assist with any Virtual Events in a Scoring Role

  • Work End Season Events in a Scoring Role

  • MUST be available to work some combination of in-person and/or virtually these MAJOR events, which include but are not limited to the following:

    • “Select” World Bid Events (based on event participation)

    • JAMfest Cheer Super Nationals

    • CHEERSPORT Nationals

    • NCA ASN

    • UCA IASC

    • U.S. Finals (based on event participation)

    • Regional Summit (based on event participation)

    • Youth Summit, Summit, and D2 Summit


QUALIFICATIONS:

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Strong familiarity with productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suites.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Ability to multi-task.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Experience in All-Star as a judge/official, gym owner, coach or similar for at least 5 years.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While not participating in an event this job operates in a professional office environment. Largely a sedentary role with some filing requiring the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary. Ability to sit or stand for long periods through meetings and while operating office equipment, PC’s, laptop, telephone will be required.

During events the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time (5 hours plus) is required. The ability to communicate with customers and colleagues using the following but not limited to radio, walkie talkie, text message and email is required. The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and manipulate equipment that is a minimum of 30 lbs. is required.
