WORK TYPE: Remote - Ohio
LOCATION DETAILS: Ohio
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Local Travel: Frequent travel around the Ohio area to visit schools, attend meetings, and conduct presentations. This includes driving to various locations within the region to build and maintain relationships with clients.
Regional Travel: Occasional travel to nearby regions for training sessions, conferences, and to support sales efforts in adjacent territories.
National Travel: Periodic travel to national conferences, company meetings, and training events as required.
Flexibility: Must be able to adapt to a dynamic schedule and travel on short notice to meet client needs and business objectives.
Transportation: Reliable transportation is essential. Mileage reimbursement or company vehicle may be provided.
PAY RATE: The base salary range for this job is $60,000-$70,000 annually plus the possibility of additional performance based incentives.
The base salary will vary based on criteria such as education, experience and qualifications of the applicant, location, internal equity, and alignment with the market.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Varsity Yearbook is seeking a Territory Sales Representative. A Yearbook Sales Representative plays a pivotal role in assisting schools with the creation and distribution of their yearbooks. This position combines sales expertise with a passion for education and design, offering a dynamic and rewarding career path.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Grow: Gain market share through adding new customers and account development.
Develop: Build and maintain customer relationships and work effectively with school administrations, organizations and their advisors, teachers, and students.
Manage: Responsibly steward the given expense budgets for your geography
Honor: Represent the Varsity Yearbook brand and shared values of accountability to customers, with unwavering integrity, responsibility, and respect for those we serve.
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Passion: Contribute to elevating student experiences in sport and spirit through the school yearbook. ·
Sales Skills: Relevant and proven consultative sales experience in K-12 education or B2B industries.
Discipline and Self-Motivation: Demonstrated personal accountability for your own success and development as a salesperson.
Relationship Skills: Demonstrated success developing new business and maintaining customer relationships through great customer experiences.
Technical Skills: Strong business and financial acumen, with emphasis on yearbook creation/production tools.
Great Communication Skills: You enjoy acting as a true business partner and communicate effectively with all stakeholders throughout the K-12 leadership chain.
Flexibility: Regional/territory and national travel required (percentage varies on territory location and demographics).
Education/Experience
2+ years of related experience
4-year degree preferred

Physical Demands
Travel: Daily travel within a designated territory is a core aspect of the role, requiring the use of a personal vehicle to visit schools, meet clients, and attend events.
Standing & Walking: Engagements at schools often involve standing for extended periods and walking between classrooms or event venues.
Manual Dexterity: Handling and demonstrating yearbook samples, promotional materials, and digital presentations necessitate fine motor skills.
Occasional Lifting: While not a primary responsibility, there may be instances requiring the lifting or moving of materials up to 25 pounds.
