HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

The V!ROC Program Director plays a critical role in the success of Varsity Spirit. This role is responsible for the strategic direction and execution of V!ROC Brand Choreography, leading their development, management, and overall performance. The V!ROC Program Director will also lead the evolution of the Varsity Spirit brand across all channels, developing and implementing comprehensive brand strategies that align with our mission, fuel growth, and strengthen our emotional connection with athletes, coaches, parents, and school communities.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Lead the strategic direction, development, and execution of the brand, ensuring alignment with Varsity Brands’ overall mission and goals.
• Drive program growth, market expansion, and achievement of business goals through effective leadership, innovation, and execution.
• Partner with creative and marketing teams to conceptualize and execute impactful, brand-aligned campaigns that connect with target audiences.
• Lead and manage a team of Choreographers, providing coaching, development, and clear direction to achieve strategic goals.
• Oversee all aspects of Choreography staff operations including recruitment, selection, compliance, scheduling, training, engagement, and retention to ensure a world-class team.
• Maintain full accountability for achieving profit targets, timelines, and budget objectives for brand programs and events.
• Act as a program ambassador and customer liaison, fostering strong relationships through on-site visits, customer engagement, and direct feedback.
• Travel regularly to events and key business functions as needed to support strategic initiatives, team development, and customer connection.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position has supervisory responsibility for a team of choreographers. The Program Director is responsible for coaching, developing, and managing team performance, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. This includes oversight of recruitment, training, scheduling, and retention of camp staff, as well as overall accountability for maintaining a high performing, engaged team that delivers world-class instruction and brand experiences.

• Knowledge of cheer and dance industry required

• Passion for youth culture, sports, spirit, and performance.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
• Experience in management preferred, preferably in the industry
