LOCATION DETAILS: Memphis, TN



TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: Event travel and attendance at staff meetings & trainings is required. Event travel will include overnight stays for events.



HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

We’re seeking a proactive and experienced marketer to lead multi-channel marketing efforts across web, email, social media, and live events. This role is ideal for a hands-on marketer with a strategic mindset, capable of driving campaigns from concept to execution and delivering measurable results. This role will focus on marketing new initiatives like the Pro Cheer League, amplifying new brands, growing fans and launching new products and programs.



WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Develop and lead integrated marketing strategies across digital, social, email, and experiential channels.
  • Manage five or more social media accounts, including content planning, community engagement, and performance analysis.
  • Plan and deploy audience-segmented email campaigns through Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including automation and reporting.
  • Own website content strategy and updates, and analyze performance metrics to optimize user experience and conversion.
  • Lead influencer, ambassador, and UGC campaigns in collaboration with athletes, content creators, and fans.
  • Partner with creative, sponsorship, and production teams to develop high-impact content and promotional assets.
  • Drive awareness and attendance for events through targeted marketing efforts, including digital ticketing, merchandise promotions, and on-site activations.
  • Serve as on-site marketing lead at up to six major events annually to ensure brand execution, content capture, and live engagement.


QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Keen analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
  • Ability to work well independently and in collaboration with others
  • Ability to multi- task and manage competing priorities
  • Experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or equivalent email platforms.
  • Strong familiarity with productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow brand presence across major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, YouTube).
  • Demonstrated success leading influencer campaigns and building UGC programs.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to independently drive multiple workstreams.
  • Highly organized, collaborative, and results-driven.
  • Willing and able to travel for key events and content gathering at participating gyms.
  • Creative thinker with a strong understanding of content strategy and fan engagement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in sports, entertainment, or live events.

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. Largely a sedentary role with some filing requiring the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary. Ability to sit or stand for long periods through meetings and while operating office equipment, PC’s, laptop, telephone will be required.
  • During events the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time (5 hours plus) is required. The ability to communicate with customers and colleagues using the following but not limited to radio, walkie talkie, text message and email is required. The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and manipulate equipment that is a minimum of 30 lbs. is required.
