The ideal Varsity Spirit Apparel Sales Representative is passionate about fashion, enjoys working one-on-one with customers and thrives in a sales environment.

Responsibilities include providing personalized solutions to groups with participants of all ages. Effectively promote Varsity products through a consultative-based selling approach.

A Varsity Spirit Fashion Sales Representative will represent Varsity Brands by demonstration of company core values in driving the highest ethical standards of conduct in all business activities.

Job Location Details:

  • This job operates in a hybrid environment between a home office, school, community, and event environments (home office and field-based position)
  • Territory sales - must currently reside in/near the location full-time to manage local client relationships and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Travel is primarily local to schools and organizations within the territory although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.

The standard pay range is between $30,000 - $45,000 plus the possibility of additional performance-based incentives.


  • Plan and prospect for territory sales
  • Conduct consults and fittings with coaches and their athletes
  • Meet & exceed assigned territory sales goals
  • Provide honest and confident feedback about style and fit
  • Seek fashion and product knowledge to build your expertise
  • Maintain personal drive to seek professional growth
  • Prospect power – build rapport
  • Build lasting relationships with customers
  • Travel to appointments within the territory
  • Excel in a work-from-home environment
  • Recruit for summer camp brands


  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business education or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of cheer and dance industry preferred
  • Industry Experience preferred
  • Experience in an administrative support role for at least 2 years.
  • Able to generate leads, forecast your sales cycle, anticipate problems and create effective solutions, with an aspiration to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Organization and follow-through
  • Ability to grasp new technology and understanding of Microsoft Suite
  • Willingness to learn in-depth product construction, technicalities and pricing
  • Cultivate an in-home office environment that is distraction-free
  • Ensure reliable travel for regular face-to-face touchpoints
