HERFF JONES, KRONOS TIME & ATTENDANCE ADMINISTRATOR- REMOTE, INDIANAPOLIS

STARTING SALARY:

This role is a fulltime, non-exempt position. Compensation starts at $19.75/hour.

YOUR OPPORTUNITY:

The Herff Jones Human Resources team is looking for a Kronos Time and Attendance Administrator to join our HJ Family.

HERE’S HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:

The Kronos Time and Attendance Administrator will support Herff Jones’ human capital management (HCM) platform. This position will be responsible for managing and overseeing compliance related to our time keeping system, employee entitlements and assist in the payroll process for Herff Jones. This important role interacts with the broader Payroll team, HR team, Managers, and all employees. Being a Kromos Time and Attendance Administrator requires a combination of technical skills, organizational knowledge, and the ability to work with users across the organization. It is essential this role stays up-to-date with industry best practices and technology advancements to effectively manage and optimize the time and attendance system.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING ON A DAILY BASIS:

• Configure the Kronos system based on the organization’s policies and requirements.

• Set up work rules, pay ruled and other parameters that govern time and attendance.

• Manage user accounts and access permissions for the Kronos system.

• Ensure all employees and managers have the appropriate access levels.

• Oversee the accurate recording of employee work hours and attendance.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to time tracking discrepancies.

• Generate reports related to employee attendance, work hours, and other relevant metrics.

• Create customized reports to meet specific organizational needs.

• Integrate Kronos with other system such as payroll and HR systems for seamless data flow.

• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across integrated platforms.

• Provide training to users (employees, managers) on how to use the Kronos system effectively.

• Offer support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve user issues.

• Ensure Herff Jones is in compliance with labor laws and regulations related to time and attendance, keeping Kronos up to date.

• Stay informed about updates and changes in relevant regulations,

• Coordinate and implement system upgrades and patches.

• Perform regular system maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance.

• Communicate system changes, updates and relevant information to users.

• Collaborate with other departments to address any cross-functional issues.

• Implement and maintain security measures to protest sensitive employee data.

• Monitor and address any security vulnerabilities in the Kronos system.

• Human Resource and payroll projects as assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Knowledge of system implementations, data extract, file feeds.

• Strong communicator - this role interacts with all levels of management, payroll, human resources and employees.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy and are passionate about process.

• Strong computer skills, MS Outlook calendaring, and reporting in Excel.

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or business-related field or combination of education and experience.

• 2+ years of experience with Kromos Time Keeping system.

PHYSCIAL ACTIVITES:

Daily activity includes but is not limited to:

• Lifting, carrying, sitting, grasping, reaching, standing, kneeling, walking, bending, twisting.

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

• Reading, communication, simple math.

• Be able to regularly lift/move up to 50lbs.

• Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to above moderate.
