National Account Manager - Softball

Remote with approximately 20-40% travel required for this position.
COMPENSATION: The standard pay range for this role is $60,000 per year plus the possibility of additional performance-based incentives.
The National Account Manager will serve as the best-in-class business development professional within the company capable of acquiring medium, large, and enterprise-sized Softball club organizations as apparel and accessory customers of BSN SPORTS. He/she will report to a Sales Executive and partner with National Account Representatives, Specialists, Marketing, and core internal business leaders across BSN SPORTS to help drive account acquisition at all levels including initial contact to multiple-year agreements. The successful candidate will be an energetic, self-driven, and resilient sales professional possessing excellent communication skills and a hunger to drive revenue growth through new customer acquisitions.
Engage, discover customer problems, and build value with leaders of strategic organizations that would benefit from BSN’s solution-based suite of products and services.
Build strong relationships with key decision makers within new account prospects in the club softball space.
Present BSN Sports' unique solutions and product offerings to target customers.
Make the BSN Story relatable to potential customers.
Work closely with senior management to obtain customers and exceed sales plan targets.
Update and provide ongoing input into CRM regarding the pipeline status of new customers, achievement against the plan, win/loss ratio, and other essential business information.
Provide intelligence on the current marketplace, competitors' offerings, and contract status to more effectively address potential customer expectations and overcome objections.
Assists leadership with the development and implementation of sales plans, market opportunities, and special projects.
A minimum of four years of management and/or sales experience.
A minimum of two years of industry experience.
Key competencies including sales acumen, organizational skills, communication proficiency, technical capacity and training, collaboration skills, time management, and customer service.
Background in softball as a player, coach, etc.
