JOB DUTIES SUMMARY: SFP Benefits is seeking a Benefits Technology and Compliance Specialist to support our Producers and Account Management team in serving and retaining employee benefits clients. This role combines technology support, compliance coordination, and client service, ensuring clients have seamless access to benefits administration systems, up-to-date compliance documents, and timely educational resources. The Specialist will manage client portals, coordinate proposals and renewals, oversee compliance filings, and deliver engaging content to clients and prospects. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and motivated to help organizations navigate the complex world of employee benefits.

Technology & Systems Support

• Build, maintain, and update Employee Navigator portals for clients; provide training and ongoing support.

• Ensure client registration and engagement with the Mineral HR platform.

• Maintain and update SFP Benefits’ website with compliance news and updates.

Quoting & Proposal Preparation

• Obtain proposals from insurers and vendors.

• Prepare clear, professional proposals and renewal comparisons for prospects and clients.

Compliance Management

• Ensure clients maintain required compliance documents (ERISA Wrap SPD, Section 125 POP, etc.).

• Coordinate and support required filings and notices, including ACA 1095, PCORI, Medicare Part D, and 5500 filings.

• Distribute employee notices as required by law.

Client & Prospect Content Engagement

• Manage Zywave content marketing system to deliver compliance, legislative, and educational updates.

• Maintain accurate distribution lists and schedules for client and prospect communications.

Account Manager Support

• Assist Account Managers with client service needs as required.

• Perform other administrative duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; employee benefits experience preferred but not required.

• TN Life, Accident & Health Insurance License (reimbursement available upon attainment).

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; comfortable learning new technologies.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Excellent communication and client service skills.

SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm in-office (1-hour lunch)
