**JOB DUTIES SUMMARY**: Oversee workflow process of employer group health and welfare benefits client acquisition and retention, serve as day-to-day initial point of contact to resolve client service matters, advocate on behalf of clients and their employees with various insurers and benefits vendors, ensure great client experience (i.e. feeling as though they have an advocate who anticipates what they need before they even know to ask for it), obtain proposals from various insurers and benefits vendors, prepare prospect proposal and client renewal reports, ensure smooth onboarding renewal enrollment, build and maintain Employee Navigator Employee Benefits Administration platform, oversee client renewal and compliance calendar and workflow, update and maintain client database and other duties as assigned.

**WORK SCHEDULE**: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, 1-hour lunch break

**SALARY RANGE**: $55,500 - $65,500, depending upon qualifications, experience

**Education, Experience, and Skills:**

- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- TN Life, Accident & Health Insurance License (reimburse upon attainment)
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Highly proficient with Windows based operating system including Microsoft
- Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) - Willing to learn and
- use new technologies – comfortable with technology in general
- Employee Benefits experience helpful but not required

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

• Serve as day-to-day client service point of contact for SFP Benefits clients and their employees fielding phone calls, e-mails, etc. (ex: claims matters, eligibility, billing, new hire additions/ employee terminations, qualifying event changes, benefits questions and inquiries, etc.).

• Work with insurance carriers and various benefits vendors advocating on behalf of SFP Benefits clients to resolve service matters and, on occasion, speak with healthcare provider and/or pharmacy in order to do so.

• Assist SFP Benefits clients in administering employee new hire adds, terms, coverage changes via various insurance carrier and benefits vendors web-based administrative portals and/or via other secure means.

• Maintain benefits client documentation and data on Zywave Brokerage Builder CRM platform ensuring currency and accuracy.

• Coordinate Renewal calendar and 120-day renewal process for SFP Benefits clients, SFP Benefits team and writing SFP Advisor.

• Coordinate obtaining renewal alternatives for SFP Benefits clients on renewal utilizing Zywave CPQ or similar 3rd party small group quote engine or carrier quoting portal.

• Prepare, update, and maintain Benefits Communication materials for SFP Benefits clients.

• Coordinate implementation and onboarding of new SFP Benefits clients (and existing on renewal) with various insurance carriers and benefits vendors ensuring proper and timely termination of prior plan being replaced by new plan upon risk acceptance letter and assignment of policy number by new carrier.

• Build and maintain Employee Navigator (or other future) Benefits Administration Portals for SFP Benefits clients updating as required based on annual renewal and after enrollment pull reports and submit enrollment data to various insurance carriers and benefit vendors ensuring accuracy and provide client HR/Benefits Administration contact payroll deduction report.

• Orient SFP Benefits clients on Employee Navigator (or Maxwell Health) use and function and serve as day-to-day help resource.

• Orient SFP Benefits clients on Mineral HR (formerly ThinkHR) platform and serve as day-to-day help resource and promote Mineral use by SFP Benefits client HR/Benefits Administration contacts.

• Coordinate SFP Benefits client regular periodic service call strategy.

• Coordinate Benefits Compliance Services for clients (ERISA/IRS Documents, Notices, Processes, COBRA, State Continuation, etc.)

• Other duties and projects as assigned.
