Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Inventory Clerk to join our team. This dual-role position is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory records and providing excellent customer service in our store. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and have a strong commitment to our mission.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Inventory Management:

1. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock levels.

2. Plan weekly replenishment orders based on stock level, sales trends and upcoming promotions

3. Receive, inspect, and record incoming inventory.

4. Organize and label inventory items for easy access and tracking.

5. Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.

6. Assist in developing and implementing inventory control procedures.

Customer Service:

7. Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service.

8. Assist customers with product inquiries and purchases.

9. Process transactions using the point-of-sale system.

10. Maintain a clean and organized store environment.

11. Help with merchandising and stocking shelves.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in inventory management preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and point-of-sale systems is a plus.

This position is based at ALSAC’s National Executive Office in Memphis, TN and requires 5 days in office.
