The Associate Biomedical Modeler performs basic pharmacometric modeling and/or statistical analysis to support laboratory and/or clinical research projects. Performs these tasks independently and generally using widely accepted approaches.

The Center for Translational Pharmacology (CTP) at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has an open position for a highly motivated and creative individual at the Associate Biomedical Modeler level within the Department of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. The CTP is the nexus for clinical pharmacology at St. Jude, where the clinical enterprise has expanded beyond oncology to programs that include non-malignant hematology, cell therapy, infectious diseases, neurologic diseases, epidemiology, and psychology.

Scientists with expertise in innovative pharmacometric and statistical approaches for pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic data analysis are encouraged to apply. The biomedical modeling group is integral to clinical trial design and interpretation, and scientists are expected to contribute to manuscript preparation with appropriate credit on publications. Additional opportunities for scholarship through novel modeling approaches are encouraged and CTP scientists will have the opportunity for continued professional development through training and participation in scientific conferences. The CTP provides a highly interactive environment with collaborative opportunities for meaningful contributions to the design of all pharmacology aspects within the context of phase 0, phase I, and phase II clinical trials. CTP biomedical modelers will interact with faculty in the Department of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and clinicians across all clinical research programs.
