Patient Representative I
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
The Patient Representative will be the initial clinic contact with patients and families. They will support patient and family arrivals and appointments and perform all routine front desk operational tasks, including monitoring of phone lines and conducting patient tracking and charge processes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the initial contact within clinic area with patients and families.
- Coordinate patient arrivals, reconcile appointments, and reconcile encounter forms and charge information using established electronic systems.
- Engage with and guide patients and visitors.
- Monitor and address communications including multi-line phone, route calls as appropriate and function as a support for scheduling.
- Electronically generate the daily patient schedule and requisitions, conduct patient tracking and charge process including accurate billing processes.
Minimum Education and/or Training:
- High School diploma/GED required.
Minimum Experience:
- 2+ years of general office or customer service experience required. Healthcare or electronic scheduling experience preferred.

Compensation
In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
