Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Analyst IV to serve as a technical authority and strategic partner in delivering innovative solutions that align with business objectives. This senior-level role requires a blend of analytical expertise, technical proficiency, and strong communication skills to ensure seamless integration and optimization of complex systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Analysis & Problem Solving:
    Understand business goals, analyze challenges, identify solutions, and perform research and cost/benefit analysis for varying options.

  • Technical Leadership:
    Act as a technical authority for other System Analysts, providing guidance and oversight on projects and system enhancements.

  • Documentation & Design:
    Create high-quality technical design documentation, including UML diagrams and system artifacts, to track changes and support functionality training.

  • Testing & Quality Assurance:
    Ensure thorough testing and compliance with change management procedures. Develop automated test scripts to maintain product quality throughout its lifecycle.

  • Technical Development:
    Work with multiple programming languages, operating systems, and platforms. Write complex database queries, document web services, and stay current with technology advancements.

  • Collaboration & Support:
    Partner with developers, QA teams, and customers to implement new requirements, upgrades, and fixes. Provide training for continuous improvement and respond to product support calls as needed.

  • Project Leadership:
    Lead projects, direct systems analysts, and coordinate efforts across cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes.

Top Skills Needed

  • Cross-functional collaboration – Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with developers, QA, architects, and business stakeholders.
  • Technical expertise – Understanding of APIs (REST/SOAP), relational databases, and integration design.
  • Documentation excellence – Ability to produce BRDs, FSDs, data mapping, test cases, and change management documentation.
  • Requirements elicitation & stakeholder management – Skilled in gathering, clarifying, and prioritizing requirements.
  • Agile methodology experience – Comfortable with backlog grooming, sprint planning, and iterative delivery.
  • Data analysis & validation – Proficient in SQL queries, JSON/XML interpretation, and data integrity checks.
  • Security & compliance awareness – Knowledge of authentication methods (OAuth, JWT) and data privacy standards.
  • Analytical & problem-solving skills – Ability to troubleshoot integration issues and analyze complex workflows.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 9–15 years of technical, analytical, systems, and programming experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of process modeling, data modeling, and specification creation.
  • Proficiency in SQL, XML, API integration, and exposure to object-oriented and client/server development techniques.
  • Experience with PL/SQL and T-SQL.
  • Strong project planning and deployment knowledge is a plus.

This position will be based at our national executive office in Memphis, TN and eligible for hybrid working schedule.
