Job Description
Are you passionate about using data-driven strategies to make a real difference? In this pivotal role, you’ll be at the center of strategic decision-making—partnering with campaign managers, analytics, and creative teams to design innovative tests, optimize investments, and build performance models that fuel our mission to save children’s lives.
You’ll transform complex data into clear, actionable strategies that drive donor growth and maximize impact across direct response channels like direct mail, email, and phone-based fundraising. What You’ll Do

Strategic Campaign Support & Collaboration
- Partner with campaign and program managers to develop and implement testing strategies that drive innovation and performance improvement.
- Foster open communication and alignment across teams to maximize impact.

Investment Optimization
- Analyze campaign performance to identify opportunities for smarter resource allocation.
- Recommend budget shifts, segmentation strategies, and targeting approaches to maximize ROI and donor growth.

Segmentation & Targeting
- Collaborate with analytics teams to refine segmentation models based on evolving donor behavior.
- Clearly communicate strategies and expected outcomes to technical and non-technical audiences.

Performance Forecasting & Scenario Planning
- Build and maintain forecasting models to guide campaign planning and risk management.
- Present insights in a clear, actionable format for leadership and cross-functional partners.

Measurement, Reporting & Communication
- Deliver regular performance reports and dashboards highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making across teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Analytics, Strategy, Finance, and Creative teams to align Direct Response strategies with organizational goals.
- Actively participate in initiatives that foster continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
What We’re Looking For
- Analytical Expertise: Strong skills in performance measurement, forecasting, and scenario planning.
- Direct Response Experience: Familiarity with channels like direct mail, email, and telefunding.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to innovate and optimize investments for maximum impact.
- Collaborative Communicator: Skilled at influencing without authority and translating complex data into actionable insights.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, analytics, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 6+ years of experience in direct response marketing, fundraising, or related discipline.
