Job Description
The Vice President of Corporate New Business & Strategic Partnerships is a visionary leader responsible for shaping and executing a comprehensive strategy to drive enterprise-level fundraising through new corporate partnerships, employee engagement, and strategic alliances. This role ensures alignment with broader organizational goals in fundraising, brand, and marketing, while fostering a high-performing, collaborative culture.
This leader will oversee multi-million-dollar revenue and expense budgets, define and track key performance indicators (KPIs), and champion cross-functional collaboration to deliver partner-centric solutions that fuel long-term growth and mission impact.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Vision
- Set and continuously refine the strategic direction for New Business Development, Employee Engagement, and Strategic Partnerships in alignment with enterprise goals.
- Serve as a key advisor to executive leadership, contributing to enterprise-wide decision-making and long-range planning.
Revenue Growth & Budget Oversight
- Lead the development and execution of integrated, multi-channel fundraising strategies generating over $200M in annual gross revenue.
- Manage and optimize departmental budgets, ensuring alignment with KPIs and long-term financial plans.
Corporate Partnership Development
- Drive top-line growth by aligning fundraising strategies with market opportunities and corporate social responsibility (CSR) trends.
- Articulate compelling value propositions for corporate partners, emphasizing mission impact, ROI, brand alignment, and employee engagement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing, Operations, and Development teams to ensure cohesive strategy execution and innovation.
- Champion a partner-first mindset while maintaining brand integrity and consistency across all initiatives.
Team Leadership & Culture Building
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of fundraising professionals, fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Operationalize change management and resource allocation to maximize impact.
Market Intelligence & Innovation
- Stay ahead of CSR, ESG, and philanthropic trends to inform strategy and ensure long-term partner value.
- Leverage data insights, performance tracking, and competitive analysis to drive innovation and results.
Executive Communication & Representation
- Represent the organization with current and prospective partners, board members, and senior leadership.
- Deliver high-impact presentations and reports that communicate progress, challenges, and opportunities.
Qualifications

Experience:
- 8+ years in partnership development/management, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven success in driving revenue growth and operational excellence in complex, matrixed environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and integrate cross-functional efforts.

- Strategic thinker with strong business and financial acumen.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.
- Adept at navigating ambiguity and influencing across all levels of an organization.
- Deep understanding of CSR, ESG, and corporate philanthropic trends.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in performance measurement and reporting.

This position will be based at National Executive Office in Memphis, TN.
