Job Description

The IT Talent Development Advisor plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of technology talent across the organization. This strategic position is responsible for designing and implementing development programs tailored to IT roles, managing initiatives that strengthen the Technology Talent pipeline, and partnering with leaders to build agile, future-ready teams.

With a strong emphasis on data-driven decision-making and discretion in handling sensitive information, the advisor ensures talent strategies align with business priorities and foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and excellence within the IT division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Design & Delivery
    Develop and execute learning and development programs customized for IT roles, technologies, and career paths.

  • Talent Pipeline Management
    Lead division-wide initiatives to support the Technology Talent pipeline, including process documentation, standards, and tool development.

  • Strategic Talent Support
    Collaborate with IT managers throughout the talent management lifecycle, offering guidance and support on development and workforce planning.

  • Capability Building
    Partner with IT leaders to identify skill gaps, forecast future capability needs, and align development efforts with strategic goals.

  • Training & Certification Coordination
    Manage logistics for IT-specific training sessions, certifications, and vendor-led workshops to ensure seamless execution.

  • Contingent Workforce Support
    Work closely with Employee Experience (EX) to support the full lifecycle of contingent workers within the IT division.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting
    Analyze workforce data to evaluate program effectiveness and inform ongoing talent strategy decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Talent Development, IT operations, IT project design, or IT contract administration.
  • General understanding of IT systems, environments, and terminology.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration across teams and with external partners.
  • Ability to interpret and follow complex instructions with precision.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a systematic approach to managing processes and documentation.
  • Proven facilitation and collaboration skills, including leading meetings and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience working with labor suppliers and external vendors.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive data with professionalism and discretion.

This position will be based at our National Executive Office in Memphis, TN and be eligible for hybrid work.
