Job Description
The Advisor, Talent Development is a dynamic learning professional who designs and delivers impactful development experiences that empower employees to grow and thrive. As a skilled facilitator and program owner, this individual brings learning to life through engaging delivery, thoughtful learner support, and strategic reinforcement. They lead the execution of key development programs, guide individual development planning, and champion a culture of continuous growth by connecting learning to career development.
This role is part of a high-performing, diverse team of learning professionals passionate about people and purpose. The Advisor will also contribute to the creation of innovative instructional materials and leverage cutting-edge tools and technologies to deliver best-in-class learning solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Learning Strategy & Design
Conduct needs analyses to identify learning objectives and desired outcomes.
Design inclusive, learner-centered experiences using adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.
Create and curate high-quality content including one-pagers, guides, workshop materials, and multimedia resources.

Program Execution & Facilitation
Lead and support the delivery of development programs, workshops, and learning events.
Serve as facilitator, producer, or co-facilitator for select learning experiences.
Activate reinforcement strategies to ensure learning translates into behavior change and performance improvement.

Technology & Innovation
Develop interactive e-learning using tools such as Articulate Storyline 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia Studio, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Build SCORM/AICC-compliant learning modules using HTML/HTML5 and other authoring tools.
Explore and implement emerging technologies to enhance learning accessibility and engagement.

Collaboration & Consultation
Partner with stakeholders across ALSAC to align learning initiatives with organizational strategy and the Culture, Equity & Belonging framework.
Collaborate with Employee Engagement, Employee Experience, and subject matter experts to validate and refine content.
Maintain strong relationships with external vendors and training providers to stay current on industry trends.

Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
Assess the effectiveness and impact of learning programs using qualitative and quantitative methods.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations for program enhancements.
Ensure all learning experiences reflect DEIB principles and are accessible to all employees.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Instructional Design, Learning Sciences, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience designing, developing, and delivering learning experiences for diverse audiences.
Deep knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design models, and learning evaluation methodologies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate Storyline, and other learning technologies.
Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
Creative, innovative, and solutions-oriented mindset.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
