Job Description
The Channel Optimization Liaison plays a pivotal role in driving the strategic success of cross-channel advertising campaigns across Digital and TV platforms. Acting as the bridge between the Media Strategy and Media Activation teams, this individual ensures campaigns are optimized, aligned, and delivering measurable impact. Leveraging data and storytelling, they translate performance metrics into actionable insights tailored for diverse audiences—from cross-functional teams to senior leadership.

Core Responsibilities
Media Mix Optimization
- Monitor daily campaign performance and flag significant KPI trends to relevant teams.
- Lead data-driven optimization discussions to ensure cross-channel budgets and performance are maximized.
- Identify and implement platform-specific testing opportunities in collaboration with internal teams.
Storytelling, Communication & Reporting
- Deliver regular performance updates, context, and strategic insights to senior leadership.
- Anticipate and address gaps between campaign expectations and actual results.
- Facilitate clear and consistent communication across internal and external stakeholders.
Tactical Planning
- Collaborate with Media Strategists and Channel Leads to establish budgets and forecast targets.
- Define and refine KPI goals across channels based on overarching campaign objectives.
- Proactively identify opportunities for incremental investment and campaign expansion.
Ad Operations
- Serve as the internal data liaison for the Analytics team, ensuring accurate and timely data delivery.
- Maintain consistency in measurement and reporting across all campaigns.
- Manage pixel creation and site tagging requests to support campaign tracking.
Project Management & Collaboration
- Partner with Channel Leads to manage timelines and deliverables, communicating updates to Strategy teams and leadership.
- Provide final approval on spec documents and confirm all campaign materials are received during hand-off meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- 3+ years of experience managing high-budget TV and/or Digital campaigns (>$5M annually).
- Advanced quantitative and analytical skills, including expert-level Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs, charting).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Data Studio is a strong plus.
- Proven ability to synthesize large datasets and extract meaningful insights.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for translating data into compelling narratives.
- Deep understanding of media mix modeling, attribution, and performance media strategies.
