Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Software Engineer III to provide technical leadership in the design, development, implementation, and support of multi-layered enterprise applications. This role combines hands-on engineering with strategic mentorship, guiding teams through complex technical challenges while driving innovation and excellence across the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Development
- Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise applications across the full stack (UI/UX, APIs, microservices, databases).
- Serve as a subject matter expert in software engineering best practices, including SecDevOps, schema design, and emerging technologies.
- Mentor and support junior engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.

Project Execution & Collaboration
- Drive technical initiatives and deliverables across multiple systems and platforms.
- Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions for complex system issues.

Innovation & Continuous Learning
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies to anticipate disruptions and identify opportunities for innovation.
- Participate in educational opportunities and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices.

Documentation & Standards
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including flowcharts, diagrams, layouts, and code comments.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and development methodologies.
Essential Job Functions
Lead technical analysis, design, and implementation of complex changes across multiple systems. Execute cross-platform technical initiatives and ensure alignment with business goals. Mentor Software Engineers I & II, fostering growth in technical and analytical skills. Engage stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback for application enhancements. Continuously update technical knowledge through training and research. Collaborate with analysts and end-users to resolve issues and plan future enhancements. Analyze, design, and develop new application systems using modern development techniques. Design visually effective user interfaces with attention to color perception and accessibility. Develop, test, debug, and maintain complex application programs. Act as a technical lead, supporting junior engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in software development, systems analysis, and programming.
- Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming and client/server architecture.
- Proven experience across the full application stack: front-end, back-end, and database technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a structured, team-oriented environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
