Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Advisor - Data Storytelling PM to join our team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of processing and analyzing diverse data sources to create compelling performance narratives. Your insights will inform strategic fundraising directions and optimize near-term opportunities. You will engage with various stakeholders, driving strategic decisions and fostering a data-driven culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis & Visualization: Process and analyze data from multiple sources, including 1st and 3rd party data, media, and advertising data across digital channels (Search, Display, Video, TV) and owned media (Email). Simplify complex datasets into clear, actionable data stories using visualizations.
  • Performance Insights: Provide perspectives on recent and long-term performance trends to inform strategic decisions. Develop insights for performance media, experience, and business metrics, measuring total performance across multiple media channels and audience segments.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate data stories effectively to various stakeholders, from peers to upper leadership, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
  • Reporting & Dashboards: Maintain and generate interactive dashboards, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Report performance narratives in a timely manner, adhering to established standards and business needs.
  • Best Practices & Training: Lead the establishment and support of analytic standards, best practices, and testing strategies. Educate teams on web analytics best practices and tools through training materials, documentation, and regular training sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Analytical Expertise: Proficient in analyzing and developing insights for performance media and business metrics. Experience with web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics.
  • Data Visualization: Skilled in developing visualizations using tools like Tableau, Google Data Studio, or PowerBI. Experience with data-wrangling tools such as Tableau Prep, Alteryx, or Talend.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to translate data and insights into compelling performance stories. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable working with large datasets and experienced in using MSSQL.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or more than 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Self-Motivation: Highly self-motivated with strong intellectual curiosity.
