Job Description

As the Advisor - Programs, WMM/Signature you will be responsible for the program strategy creation, management, and implementation of the national assigned program area. Proactively monitors, manages, and mitigates risk associated to brand, legal and financial risk to the organization. Responsible for research, recruitment, reputation management, training, and sustained cultivation of key external and internal relationships. Focus on continuous improvement through performance metrics analysis, test and learn opportunities, speed to market strategies and post-delivery evaluation.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Identifies key initiatives in support of ALSAC’s strategic plan.

2. Oversees the execution of assigned area plans to ensure plans support the achievement of business objectives and strengthen the fundraising efforts of St. Jude in an impactful way.

3. Operates within established budgetary parameters. Utilizes problem skills to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others in appropriate style.

4. Manages day-to-day program aspects, trains on measurable strategies and progressive program priorities to build market penetration in assigned geographic areas. Includes maintaining adherence to program core standards and policies, optimizing cost containment opportunities through local, regional, and national sponsorships aligned with fiscal objectives and ensuring timeline management controls.

5. Creates market mailing schedule and determines mail selects through a detailed analysis of performance metrics and unique target audience segmentation strategies in each respective market. Works directly with partners in marketing to develop all printed campaign related materials.

6. Works directly with Legal Department on all regulatory or legal protocols and safeguards related to assigned program area in each respective state/county.

7. Collaborates with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities. Communicate insights to the appropriate teams or individuals.

8. Represents ALSAC-St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in all areas in such a manner as to reflect positively on the hospital and our fund-raising organization. Represents ALSAC-St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at industry functions and interacts with industry professionals.

Knowledge

  • Knowlege of Third-Party Relationship Management; Internal Stakeholder Collaboration; Assist with Budget Development & Management; High Value P2P Strategy Experience
  • Experience with internal communication, budgeting, and special events fundraising
  • Knowledge of active lifestyle industry related business a plus
  • Speak and write in a clear and understandable manner for internal/external relations
  • Understand data processing applications
  • Understand complex verbal or written instructions
  • Demonstrates clear communication and the ability to influence others
  • Knowledge ordinarily acquired through a bachelor’s degree or more than 5 years of experience
