Job Description

As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing distributed, multi-tier software applications across our enterprise platform. Your expertise in web application integration, data exchange protocols, and technical ownership will drive successful project outcomes. Here are the key responsibilities and requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment.
  • Environment Setup: Configure development environments and document release notes, technical details, functionality, and configurations.
  • Technology Stack: Leverage your knowledge of J2EE (Java, JSP, JDBC, and frameworks), UI/UX technologies, JavaScript frameworks, Web Services (REST, SOAP), and containerization (Docker, OpenShift).
  • DevOps Practices: Familiarity with DevOps practices and other relevant technologies.

Requirements:

  • Technical Skills:
    • Experience with third-party databases, libraries, interfaces, and internet protocols.
    • Proficiency in web infrastructure, including web servers, application servers, and containerization.
    • Strong understanding of J2EE concepts, UI/UX technologies, and JavaScript frameworks.
    • Troubleshooting skills for resolving technical issues.
    • Knowledge of internet hardware, software, and firewall setup.
    • Familiarity with multi-threaded programming, transaction isolation, and caching strategies.
    • Exposure to Content Management/Content Delivery, Social Media Integrations, and Digital Wallet/Online Payment Technologies.
  • Salesforce Expertise:
    • Proficiency in the Salesforce Marketing Relational Data Model (RDM).
    • Integration of data sources (e.g., AWS Redshift) into Salesforce Data Cloud.
    • Knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud storage and data models.
    • CI/CD processes using Cloudbees/Jenkins for Salesforce deployments.
    • Familiarity with Salesforce CLI and Salesforce DX.
    • General understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud services.
    • API development and experience in Java and Python.
  • Communication and Project Management:
    • Articulate both marketing and IT needs to various stakeholders.
    • Collaborate effectively with team members and business users.
    • Excellent project management, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, engineering, or mathematics.
    • Minimum of 10 years of technical, analytical, systems, and programming experience.
    • Master’s degree and 2 years of lead experience preferred.

**This position will be a hybrid position based in Memphis, Tennessee at our National Executive Office**
