Job Description

As a Sr. Engineer IV - IT Infrastructure you’ll be a key player in ensuring our on-premises and cloud infrastructure systems' stability, integrity, and efficient operation. Our diverse infrastructure stack includes Windows Server, VMWare, Active Directory, Linux Server, Network, Database, Storage, Cloud, Email, and Mobile technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Definition: Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document infrastructure system requirements.
  • Monitoring and Optimization: Develop and implement monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization methods for all infrastructure components.
  • Issue Resolution: Apply strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues, maximizing the benefit of our IT systems investments.

Qualifications:

  • Expertise:
    • Extensive experience with software systems, applications, and related products in both Microsoft and Linux environments.
  • Cloud Knowledge:
    • Well-versed in infrastructure cloud components and services.
  • Data Center Systems:
    • Proficient with core data center systems, including MS Exchange Server, MS SQL Server, Active Directory, and VMware.
  • Security Savvy:
    • Knowledge of antivirus software (e.g., Trend Micro, McAfee) and patch management tools (e.g., Ivanti).
  • Virtualization:
    • Expertise in server virtualization and PowerShell scripting.
  • Storage and Networking:
    • Enterprise-level experience with SAN architecture, storage allocation, and network troubleshooting.
  • Network Security:
    • Familiarity with firewalls (Cisco, Check Point, Palo Alto) and intrusion detection systems.
  • M365 Technologies :
    • Email/Exchange Services
    • InTune Endpoint Manager and Software Packaging/Deployment
    • PowerShell Scripting and Automation of Administrative Tasks
    • Collaboration Suite (Teams, Office)
    • On-prem and Azure Active Directory Services
    • Microsoft Server General Services
  • Project Management:
    • Excellent project management skills and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Certifications:
    • Preferred certifications include VMware, Microsoft, Cisco, AWS, and Azure.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree:
    • Computer Science or related field.
    • 10+ years of progressive information system experience, with 8-10 years in an Infrastructure or System Engineer role.
