Job Description

As an Exchange Room Processor, you will play a crucial role in our organization by efficiently handling high-volume donation processing functions. You’ll use proprietary software to ensure accurate and timely entry of donations while maintaining quality standards. Your responsibilities will include scanning, processing adjustments, balancing, and maintaining controls to uphold departmental service level agreements (SLAs). Additionally, you’ll assist with regional transactional processing and contribute to the overall success of our team.

**This position will be based on the ALSAC / St.Jude Campus in Memphis, TN 5 days a week**

Key Responsibilities

Donation Processing:

  • Utilize proprietary software to process donations efficiently.

  • Ensure accurate data entry for all incoming donations.

  • Maintain production and quality standards.

Scanning and Balancing:

  • Scan physical donation documents into the system.

  • Balance donation entries to reconcile production and vendor files.

Communication and Customer Service:

  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Handle inquiries via phone, email, chat, text, and social media.

  • Understand and follow customer service techniques.

Database Maintenance:

  • Maintain and update donor information in the database.

  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy.

General Skills and Qualifications:

  • Arithmetic: Ability to understand general arithmetic for accurate data entry.

  • Communication: Clear and understandable communication skills for internal and external relations.

  • Verbal and Written Instructions: Ability to comprehend difficult verbal or written instructions from donors and others.

  • Customer Service: Familiarity with customer service techniques.

  • Software Proficiency: Knowledge of word processing software and database maintenance.

  • Typing Skills: Familiarity with typing.

  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED with 1-3 years of clerical experience, including 1 year of financial/accounting experience.

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
