Job Description

As an Area Sales Lead, you will be at the forefront of our corporate engagement strategy, driving revenue growth and expanding our partnerships with local and regional companies. You will collaborate closely with the leadership team to align sales initiatives with our strategic goals and ensure the success of St. Jude's mission. With your deep understanding of collaboration, brand management, and sales tactics, you will lead the way in creating meaningful connections within the community and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving Revenue Growth: You will be responsible for generating new revenue streams, securing sponsorships, and establishing corporate partnerships that align with our mission and values. Your strategic approach will contribute to meeting and exceeding sales goals within your designated Area(s).
  • Local and Regional Partnerships: Leverage your expertise to build a robust pipeline of local and regional companies, aiming for at least 85% of engagement from these businesses. Your efforts will maximize our corporate engagement potential within the market.
  • Effective CRM Utilization: Ensure the successful adoption of our CRM system, which will facilitate regular sales team discussions and reporting, enabling data-driven decision-making.
  • Program Development and Brand Management: Utilize your strong understanding of research analytics, brand management, and sales sponsorship acumen to create and execute successful programs and initiatives that align with St. Jude's core values. These initiatives may range from events such as dinners, galas, and tournaments to awareness campaigns.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate closely with Area Leadership, Enterprise Sales Leadership, and other internal teams to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities. Your active outreach and relationship-building skills will be key in achieving successful prospect engagement.
  • Sales Strategy Implementation: Partner with Territory staff and other divisions within ALSAC to implement and measure the effectiveness of your area-specific sales strategies. This includes forecasting, resource planning, and budgeting.
  • Communication and Alignment: Keep communication lines open with Territory and Enterprise Sales Leadership, sharing updates on corporate acquisition activities and participating in strategic meetings to ensure alignment and optimize prospect engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 years of proven consultative sales experience in strategic business-to-business (B2B), tele-sales, and/or digital sales environments. Marketing experience is highly applicable.
  • Proven Performance: Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sustainable objectives, showcasing your ability to drive results.
  • Team Player: Self-driven, highly motivated, and an effective team player with a proven ability to inspire others, influence decisions, and execute strategies that make a positive impact.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a talent for building strong internal and external relationships.
  • Strategic Thinking: Display a strategic and analytical mindset that focuses on the long-term success of the organization.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to thrive in high-pressure situations.
  • Passion: Project passion, energy, and dedication to our mission, making a meaningful impact on the company's growth and success.
  • Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required for this role.
