Job Description

As a Creative Director at ALSAC, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand identity, driving creative excellence, and ensuring alignment with our strategic goals. You’ll lead a cross-functional team of content creators, guiding them to produce compelling and audience-centric experiences that elevate our brand, increase revenue, and raise awareness for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Your creative vision will inspire innovation and dynamic ideas, positioning us as a leader in fundraising and outreach.

Conceptualization and Strategy:

  • Conceive and implement creative concepts, guidelines, and strategies across various projects.

  • Collaborate closely with account executives to understand client requirements and project objectives.

  • Shape brand standards and maintain consistency across all channels.

Team Leadership:

  • Direct and motivate teams of art directors, illustrators, copywriters, and other creatives.

  • Lead brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas.

  • Foster a collaborative atmosphere among teams.

Content Development:

  • Write and design unique, well-crafted copy that meets client needs and aligns with our brand voice.

  • Oversee content creation, ensuring it resonates with audience motivators.

Strategic Thinking:

  • Identify and implement solutions to creative challenges, leveraging industry best practices.

  • Understand how creative and content can strategically target audiences through various channels.

Project Management:

  • Move projects forward through multiple organizational levels.

  • Present ideas confidently and negotiate tactfully.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Creative Director or in a similar creative role.

  • Skills:

    • Hands-on experience in the creative process, marketing, graphic design, and brand development.

    • Excellent working knowledge of software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.

    • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills.

    • Exemplary interpersonal and analytical abilities.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (BSc/BA) in advertising, fine art, design, or a relevant field; master’s degree (MSc/MA) is considered an asset.

  • Additional Requirements:

    • Proven ability to develop compelling and effective marketing creative that meets assigned objectives while handling multiple projects simultaneously.

    • Ability to understand extremely complex verbal or written instructions.

    • Familiarity with content production processes and applications.

    • Knowledge ordinarily acquired through a Bachelor’s Degree plus more than 8 years of experience.
