Job Posting: Manager - Development Analytics

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Manager of Development Analytics to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing insights, driving data-driven decision-making, and optimizing processes across our Development team. Responsibilities

  • Insight Generation: You will be responsible for identifying key analytical needs and opportunities within the Development team. By leveraging data and analytics, you’ll provide valuable insights to drive business strategy and operational excellence.

  • Process Design and Development: Design, develop, and enable processes, tools, and reports that enhance analytical access and understanding. Your work will empower team members to make informed decisions based on data-driven insights.

  • Project Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams on pan-Development analytical projects. You’ll identify and assemble the right expertise from our analytics community and business partners to tackle complex challenges.

  • Team Leadership and Coaching: Recruit, develop, mentor, and coach a team of professionals. Provide guidance to employees regarding administration, procedures/policies, and communication.

  • Resource Management: Work closely with Development Analytics functional leadership and business leadership to manage and communicate the ongoing administration and prioritization of analytical resources. These resources will support strategic initiatives and projects.

  • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Effectively manage relationships with business partners and leaders. Ensure that analytics drives the roadmap of new initiatives while sustaining core business. Seek to generate insights that inform the development of necessary technology and data roadmaps to support analytics growth.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate cross-functional workgroups to collaborate on the planning and execution of pan-Development projects and initiatives. Use your expertise, good judgment, and organizational knowledge to progress stated goals and objectives.

  • Data Design and Delivery: Oversee the design and delivery of data sources, reports, and insights. Analyze audiences, business functions, and key performance metrics across the Development team.

Qualifications

  • General Management Knowledge: Familiarity with management methods and practices is essential. You’ll need to navigate organizational dynamics and drive positive outcomes.

  • Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities are crucial. Proficiency in data analysis, including SQL, is a must.

  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary. You’ll simplify complex topics for diverse audiences, both internally and externally.

  • Collaborative Leadership: As a team leader, you’ll foster a positive employee experience and promote collaboration. Your interpersonal skills will be key to success.

  • Organization and Prioritization: With multiple projects on your plate, being highly organized and able to prioritize effectively is essential.

  • Clear Communication: You’ll interact with various stakeholders, so the ability to speak and write clearly and understandably is vital.

  • Education and Experience: A bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience.
