Job Description

As a Sr Liaison - National Direct Marketing, you will be responsible for the strategic and tactical management and execution of the day-to-day activities associated with the revenue generation, performance, expense management, and trend analysis of National Direct Marketing and Field Operations cultivation and retention programs. You will:

  • Develop and implement integrated, multi-channel strategies targeted to raise more than $110 million in gross revenue for NDM and Field Operations to increase donor experience and brand awareness.

  • Work closely with cross-divisional teams and external vendors and consultants, but with a high degree of autonomy, to ensure all strategies and tactics are aligned with NDM, Field Ops and ALSAC’s Strategic Plan.

  • Manage the daily activities associated with revenue generation, performance, donor recruitment, expense management, trend analysis and non-financial KPIs for the Direct Marketing “Insert Media Program”, an acquisition and reactivation direct mail tool.

  • Liaise with multiple external vendors and internal partners to determine media mix, creative, content, format, testing strategies and budget allocation for each audience and channel to develop and execute campaign strategy.

  • Provide monthly forecasts using multiple finance and data tools and manage a $10M expense budget.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Marketing/Communications or a related field.

  • Thorough knowledge of direct marketing best practices in support of ensuring brand integrity.

  • Knowledge and experience in emerging marketing platforms and channels including digital (interactive, social and mobile among others).

  • Excellent attention to detail, strategy development, and ability to work cross-functionally within a high performance work environment.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for internal/external relations.

  • Thorough knowledge of English spelling, grammar and usage and ability to understand extremely complex verbal or written instructions.

  • Thorough grasp of rhetorical tools used in marketing communications and excellent typing skills.

  • General knowledge of purchasing and inventory control.
