Job Description

ALSAC Real Estate Property Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Real Estate Property Manager to oversee the operational aspects of ALSAC-owned and leased properties. This includes but is not limited to, the preparation of financial statements, supervision of maintenance and administrative efforts, supporting space buildout projects, and managing supplier and vendor contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage ALSAC’s corporate real estate activities, including assessing needs by scheduling and conducting real estate planning meetings.

  • Manage two real estate brokerage firms and assign project tasks to each.

  • Complete monthly reports of completed transactions and negotiation status reports.

  • Ensure compliance with ALSAC standards outlined in its “Leased Office Space Guidelines”.

  • Oversee property service contracts and contract expirations.

  • Serve as a liaison between ALSAC user groups and property owners.

  • Monitor and track work orders and other service requests to our landlords.

  • Coordinate ordering, delivery, and installation of furniture with furniture vendors per established office space standards.

  • Establish processes and controls to maintain accurate lease database files.

  • Act as point-of-contact with internal stakeholders for all related real estate and service needs.

  • Extensive travel by plane and automobile may be required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Real Estate, Finance, or Accounting.

  • A minimum of 4 years of commercial real estate experience (leasing, property management) is required; or a minimum of 5 years of commercial real estate work history in property management, leasing, or real estate accounting.

  • Experience equivalent to that of an Assistant Property Manager.

  • MBA, CCIM, CPM or equivalent preferred.

  • Prior experience with real estate property management software.

  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with Smartsheet is a plus.

  • Knowledgeable of all phases of leasing transactions.

  • Excellent organization & communication skills (verbal and written), strong multi-tasking abilities, high attention to detail, follow-up & follow-through capabilities, and a successful history of meeting commitments & deadlines.
