Job Description Summary

Responsible for supporting the asset management function within Raymond James’ Technology department. This function is responsible for tracking software and hardware assets, as well as internal and external entitlements. The function is also responsible for facilitating branch asset inventory compliance with Raymond James software/hardware policies.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Controls, tracks, and updates the receipt, identification, categorization, recording, and documentation of all IT assets for all hardware, software, and infrastructure assets.

• Support in defining, managing and governing IT Asset Management Processes for our branches including: Software Asset, Hardware Asset, Asset Disposal, Asset Audit

• Hardware / software internal record keeping.

• Experience with Service Now’s asset management module preferred but not required.

• Drive automation of IT Asset Processes, identifying opportunities for enhancements or efficiencies

• Coordinates with other stakeholders as needed to ensure proper software process controls

• May perform quality assurance on databases, systems, audits, and scans.

• Support IT Asset Management day to day activities.

• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Requirements gathering, issue tracking, risk management

• Working knowledge of ITAM Lifecycle.

Skills:

• Data analysis, imports, audits, and reporting

• Microsoft Office Products

• Effective Communication

• ServiceNow Solutions preferred (ITSM, SAM Pro, HAM, etc.)

Ability to:

• Identify and understand issues, problems and opportunities; compare data from different sources to draw conclusions.

• Clearly convey information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.

• Use effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions; recommend or take action that is consistent with available facts, constraints and probable consequences.

• Make internal and external clients and their needs a primary focus of actions; develop and sustain productive client relationships.

Preferred Experience:

• ServiceNow experience preferred.

• Financial services industry experience preferred.

Education

Bachelor’s: Business Administration, High School (HS) (Required)
