We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support the strategic evolution of our advisor relationship management model. This individual will play a key role in designing and implementing a robust segmentation and contact strategy that enables our field teams to proactively support advisor growth.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong technical acumen, experience working cross-functionally, and a passion for enabling data-driven decision-making. This role will work closely with the division relationship management team, divisional leadership, business intelligence teams, and a dedicated data scientist to turn data into actionable insights and scalable engagement strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and execution of a data-driven segmentation strategy for 3,700+ financial advisors, incorporating business size, growth trajectory, advisor tenure, and behavioral patterns.
- Develop and operationalize a multi-tiered contact strategy to guide relationship management activity based on advisor segment and business goals.
- Build and manage dashboards, performance trackers, and advisor engagement reports using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Translate complex data into strategic insights for leadership presentations and field enablement tools.
- Analyze advisor lifecycle trends (onboarding, growth, retention) and identify opportunities to enhance field effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the data scientist to integrate predictive modeling and advanced analytics into day-to-day decision-making.
- Serve as a data SME for the relationship management team and help drive a culture of insight-based execution.
- Maintain high standards of data quality, accuracy, and integrity across platforms.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in a data analyst or business intelligence role, preferably in financial services or distribution
- Expertise in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), data governance, and reporting best practices
- Ability to present complex findings in a clear, concise, and business-relevant way
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to collaborate across functions and influence without authority
- A client-first mindset and the ability to align analytics with field and business needs
Preferred:
- Experience working in wealth management, asset management, or advisor-centric distribution teams
- Exposure to segmentation models, contact strategy frameworks, or performance management tools
- Familiarity with predictive analytics or machine learning concepts
