Job Description

The VP, Head of Early Careers (Campus Recruiting), is responsible for setting the strategy to build a pipeline of future leaders for the organization. This leader will work across all business lines to identify campus talent needs and work to create and implement an efficient talent acquisition strategy to recruit into campus and pipeline programs. Extensive contact with internal and external resources and senior management is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • As part of the Bank’s Global Talent Acquisition leadership team, advocate for campus recruiting strategies and provide input on cross-Talent Acquisition matters, including people, process, and technology.

  • Provide strong leadership to campus recruiters to effectively deliver the campus strategy.

  • Lead team responsible for undergraduate and graduate degree recruiting to source talent for summer internship and full-time.

  • Analyze and present key performance metrics and provide market insights to key stakeholders to drive enhancements to recruiting strategies.

  • Set strategy, proactively manage budget, and partner on operational processes.

  • Determine best practices, processes, and policies to build and shape the future direction of campus recruitment efforts.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key business leaders and HR partners. Advise on optimal use of early talent pipeline and retention strategies.

  • Build internal and external partnerships to ensure a diverse source of early talent across university partners and partnership organizations. Develop and implement strategies to broaden our pipeline.

  • Leverage data and analytics to proactively evaluate the effectiveness of sourcing channels.

  • Stay current with advancements in technology, platforms, and vendors supporting the build of early talent pipelines.

  • Ensure candidates receive a best-in-class experience at all touch points throughout the recruitment process.

  • The ability to build strong and influential relationships across all levels of an organization with a results-driven approach.

Knowledge of

  • Talent Acquisition experience and knowledge of campus recruiting practices, processes and technologies.

  • Strong consulting and project management skills with the ability to quickly assess situations, identify gaps, clearly articulate what needs to be done, and mobilize others in the right direction.

  • Excellent analytical and data analysis skills with the ability to think through problems and recommend solutions while understanding downstream impacts.

  • The ability to build strong and influential relationships across all levels of an organization with a results-driven approach.

  • Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills.

Education/Previous Experience

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree; potentially a Master’s Degree with 15+ years of campus recruiting experience; 8-10+ years of managerial experience
