Job Summary:

Raymond James Risk Management is seeking a strategic and technically skilled Senior Analyst to lead high-impact analytical initiatives to inform enterprise risk decisions. In this role, you will transform complex datasets into actionable intelligence, guide cross-functional projects, and contribute to the continuous evolution of Risk Management data capabilities. Under limited supervision from senior leaders on your team, you’ll collaborate across departments playing a key role in shaping the firm’s risk posture.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Partner with business leaders to define analytical objectives and solve complex risk-related challenges.

• Design, execute, and deliver analytical projects, including exposure analysis, trading activity reviews, and loan portfolio assessments.

• Develop and implement statistical models to forecast risk.

• Build and maintain scalable reporting solutions and interactive dashboards using BI tools such as Tableau.

• Ensure data integrity and consistency across all deliverables, applying rigorous quality control standards.

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within assigned workflows.

• Translate technical findings into clear, compelling narratives for stakeholders through presentations and executive summaries.

• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines using effective project management and time-tracking practices.

Knowledge of:

• Analytical tools and platforms: Python, SQL, Excel (Power Query, Macros), Tableau, QlikSense.

• Financial markets, banking operations, investment products, and Risk Management principles.

• Data preparation and cleansing methodologies.

• Statistical and analytical techniques including regression, variance analysis, sampling theory, and forecasting.

Skill in:

• Applying SQL, Python, advanced Excel, and data visualization tools to solve business problems.

• Reconciling and validating data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy.

• Communicating technical insights effectively through presentations and visual storytelling.

• Interpreting financial reports and translating them into actionable insights.

Ability to:

• Digest and Analyze data from multiple large data sources.

• Adapt quickly to evolving needs and deliver concise, actionable insights under tight timelines.

• Work independently and prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

• Interpret technical instructions and translate them into actionable steps.

• Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Develop and justify data-driven recommendations that consider constraints and potential outcomes.

Education/Previous Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in financial services.

• OR

• Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience approved by Human Resources.
