We’re looking for a detail-oriented, dependable Wire Transfer Associate to join our Wire Team. This role is essential to ensuring the accurate and timely processing of wire transfers, maintaining service standards, and supporting internal teams across a variety of operational tasks. You’ll be part of a collaborative group that values precision, responsiveness, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Execute standard and specialized banking transactions in accordance with established operational procedures.
Monitor and respond to wire-related emails (Incoming and Inquiry inboxes) within SLA standards (typically within 1 hour, max 2).
Handle incoming phone calls during assigned rotation weeks, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
Process incoming wire reports including AP and Cash Managers’ reports.
Enter and approve future-dated wires and money market wires; monitor release schedules and assist with firm-entered wires.
Manage USD firm wires: enter wires from the Firm email box, annotate unposted items, and resolve discrepancies using RDC and HRMS reports.
Provide coverage for teammates during absences, lunches, or high-volume periods, flexing across roles as needed.
Communicate actively with the team when handling fraud wires or other time-sensitive issues.
Maintain and update documentation and notes in internal systems to ensure transparency and continuity.
Prepare routine documents and reports using standard office software.
Support departmental systems and processes, including budget tracking and time/expense recording.
Skills & Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint).
Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
Experience in financial operations or wire processing is a plus, but not required.
Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to jump in and support wherever needed.
Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures with guidance.
Capable of planning and executing tasks to meet performance standards.
