Job Summary:

The Food and Beverage Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Director of Food and Beverage in delivering exceptional food service experiences and operational excellence across two different Raymond James corporate locations. This position is responsible for coordinating daily operations, managing communications, and driving associate engagement through strategic programming and reporting. The coordinator oversees logistics for the Food Service Committee, maintains digital content and dashboards, and partners with cross-functional teams to execute special events and catered functions. By leveraging data tools and collaborating with chefs and facilities teams, the coordinator ensures efficient service delivery, cost-effective sourcing, and continuous improvement in satisfaction of food services offerings at Raymond James Corporate locations.

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the Director in monitoring daily F&B operations to ensure high-quality food and service delivery.
  • Assist in budget preparation by gathering data, researching vendor options, and preparing preliminary recommendations.
  • Coordinate and manage the Food Service Committee’s logistics, including recruitment, meeting agendas, and programming.
  • Develop and distribute a monthly/quarterly food service newsletter to enhance associate engagement.
  • Maintain and update weekly menus on RJnet for Memphis and St. Pete locations.
  • Manage the Microsoft Teams channel content and updates under the Director’s guidance.
  • Lead coordination of special events in partnership with Fitness/Wellness and Associate Experience teams.
  • Attend pre- and post-event meetings to provide operational support and gather feedback.
  • Generate and maintain weekly reports using Qlik Sense to support operational analysis and decision-making.
  • Track and report on product sourcing categories, wait times, and dish popularity vs. food cost in collaboration with chefs.
  • Act as a liaison with the Facilities team for service provider follow-ups and issue resolution.
  • Assist with the coordination and oversight of all non-VIP catered events in St. Pete, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with associate expectations.
  • Maintain dashboards for:
    • F&B satisfaction and average spend
    • Weekly main dish performance
    • Café wait times and locker delivery metrics
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of

  • Understanding of food service operations, catering logistics, and hospitality standards
  • Familiarity with budgeting principles and vender sourcing practices
  • Knowledge of internal communication platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Outlook, etc.)
  • Awareness of health, safety, and sanitation regulations in food service environments
  • Experience with data reporting tools and understanding metrics

Skill in

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, events, and communications simultaneously with attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in generating and interpreting reports to support operational decisions
  • Competence with Microsoft Office, Qlik Sense, and internal platforms for menu updates and reporting
  • Skilled in coordinating logistics for special events and catered functions, including pre- and post-event evaluations
  • Interpreting client input, clarifying issues and developing solutions

Ability to

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build relationships across departments and serve as a liaison with internal teams (e.g., Facilities, Fitness, Associate Experience Teams)
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and respond effectively to operational needs
  • Ability to synthesize feedback and implement improvements in food service delivery
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements

Education/Previous Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and minimum three(3) years of experience

  • Any equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training approved by Human Resources.

Bachelor’s: Business Administration, Bachelor’s: Computer and Information Science, Bachelor’s: Construction Management
