Under general supervision, uses knowledge and skills obtained through education and/or experience to assist in the coordination of the end-to-end capital stress test process, capital plan, and associated governance. Supports the maintenance of the firm-wide stress test calendar identifying key dates, activities, and owners. A successful candidate will have a demonstrated history of being exceptionally well-organized, a self-starter who works efficiently to meet tight deadlines, and has exceptional communication skills across multiple levels of management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Supports the execution of key elements of the firm-wide capital stress test including preparation and coordination of enterprise-wide stress testing meetings, tracking key dates, liaising with stakeholders, creating/maintaining process documentation, and coordination of the review and challenge process, in addition to other relevant governance elements.
Contributes to the development, tracking, aggregation, and maintenance of the capital plan documentation, including the sourcing & QA/QC of data within all sections.
Assists Capital PMO with initiatives related to capital stress testing and the capital plan.
Participates in cross-functional meetings and assists with tracking action items and deliverables
Supports research, analysis, and issue resolution related to challenges raised during the stress testing or capital planning activities.
Prepares materials and responds to information requests from Risk Management, Internal Audit, and regulators.
Aids in preparation of ad hoc analyses and reports for the RJF Board of Directors and other management committees.
Stays abreast of evolving capital regulatory requirements.
Contributes to process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and documentation quality
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge and Abilities
General concepts, practices and procedures related to planning and project management.
Specific subject matter expertise regarding area of responsibility and a solid business understanding of Raymond James products and services.
Fundamental concepts of financial markets.
Financial risk management and mitigation strategies to support sound financial planning.
Regulatory expectations for Large Financial Institutions (LFI).
Ability to

Stay organized throughout the project lifecycle, effectively working with stakeholders throughout the organization to achieve desired outcomes.
Gather and analyze financial information to identify key trends, risks, and insights. Analyze issues, evaluate alternatives, develop proposals, and present recommendations.
Use Excel for data manipulation, visual creation, & project management.
Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, across all organizational levels.
Partner with other functional areas to accomplish objectives.
Proactively address issues and develop solutions.
Reengineer existing processes and implement process improvement initiatives.
Educational/Previous Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with a major in Finance, Economics or a related field.
Experience with Bank Holding Company requirements preferred.
Experience with Workiva, SharePoint, and/or ThoughtSpot are preferred.
