Manage and coordinate the accounting staff. Ensure a consistent quality of earnings by effectively managing the internal financial statements, balance sheets, income statements and statements of cash flows. Oversee and review the preparation and administration of financial statements, general ledger, escalations, budgets and variance analysis. Serve as the primary finance and accounting contact to senior management. Develop, refine, implement and maintain effective and efficient business processes.

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA
- Minimum of 6-8 years’ experience in corporate accounting including at least 3 years of management experience
- Organized and able to handle a large workload and be detail oriented
- Extensive experience with computerized accounting systems and monthly close process
- Must have proficiency in PC applications such as MS-Excel and MS-Word
- Directs accounting and budgetary controls for assigned operating area.
- Establishes economic objectives and policies for the company. Prepares reports outlining the company’s financial position in the areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present and future operations.
- Coordinates and directs the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts. Institutes and maintains other planning and control procedures (including the cost accounting system), and analyzed and reports variances.
- Oversees preparation of monthly management statements including accruals and expense variance analysis.
- Responsible for overall management of accounting department.
- Oversees cash management function and controls.
- Maintains communication with various levels of management and affiliated personnel.
- Coordinates accounting projects as needed.
- Reviews, approves and completes performance reviews and evaluations for departmental staff.
- Responsible for recruiting and development plans of accounting staff.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
