Finance Center of Excellence Accountant - Senior

Tax Compliance & Reporting

  • Prepare and review direct and indirect tax returns, including Corporate Income Tax, Value Added Tax, Foreign Contractor Withholding Tax and other applicable taxes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of all tax filings and payments
  • Maintain tax calendars and monitor compliance deadlines
  • Reconcile tax accounts and investigate discrepancies

Tax Accounting

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual tax provisions in accordance with applicable accounting standards (USGAAP, Vietnam Generally Accounting Standard (VAS)
  • Review tax balances and ensure accurate reflection in financial statements
  • Assist in deferred tax calculations and tax disclosures
  • Assist in evaluating tax risks and opportunities

Audit and Tax Authority Support

  • Coordinate responses to tax authority inquiries, audits and assessments
  • Prepare supporting documentation for tax audits and inspections
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants regarding tax matters

Regulatory Monitoring

  • Monitor changes in tax regulations and assess potential impacts to the business
  • Communicate relevant tax updates to finance and business stakeholders
  • Assist in implementing new tax requirements and reporting obligations.
  • Any other tax matters, including but not limited to corporate income tax and indirect tax.

Education: Bachelor or Higher degree in Finance & Accounting
Accreditation: ACCA / CPA qualification preferrable
Language: Proficiency in English
Experience: 5-8 years of related work experience
