Description

Designs, codes, tests and deploys software in all layers of the development life cycle. Provides the necessary documentation. Works with databases, APIs, servers, networks and various programming languages. Designs software code using multiple programming languages. Tests newly developed software code. Documents code per the Company's processes. Mentors those in less senior positions. Perform other duties as assigned. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or information systems plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or 4 years of qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of experience.

Requirements

The position requires experience with: Maintain and update integrations with CoTS and SaaS integrations to external products and vendors; Maintain and updates architecture for cross portfolio multi-application systems; Knowledge and familiarity with global supply chain operations and procedures; Deep knowledge of microservice architecture and administration; Advanced cloud platform experience and administration (PCF, Azure, GCP); Advanced knowledge and skills around GitHub actions and automation of CI/CD activities to maintain code quality, identify and fix security vulnerabilities, and Dev Sec Ops; Advanced knowledge of design patterns and enterprise integration patterns; Proficiency with distributed tracing, logging, monitoring, and alerting. Strong written and verbal communication skills. A related advanced degree may offset the experience requirements. Position can telecommute from home from any location in the U.S. *Employer will accept one (1) year of directly related experience in lieu of one (1) year of education.*
