Position: Brokerage Specialist

Reports To: Principal

Hours: 40/week

Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Brokerage Specialist to join our top-ranking industrial brokerage team. The ideal candidate would possess excellent communication and project management skills. The Brokerage Specialist will be responsible for coordinating market surveys, proposals, managing marketing materials, maintaining databases, and optimizing the use of technology to support the team's efforts. The Specialist will also assist with client/prospect relationship management and performing various related tasks as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Complete and coordinate market surveys to gather data on market trends, including rental rates, vacancy rates, and property availability.

• Respond to listing inquiries and quote rates*

• Manage and update industrial market information, including tenants in the market, sale and lease comps, and competitive sets.

• Maintain and update property marketing materials, including CoStar/Crexi listings, flyers, and email blasts.

• Create and manage a comprehensive database of leased properties, including critical lease expiration dates.

• Optimize the use of technology to enhance team efforts in market analysis and client communications.

• Prepare quarterly market updates and regular market email updates for targeted audiences.

• Manage contact information and communication strategies for broker and client lists, including inputting data into tracking databases.

• Assist with RFP/proposal drafting and responses.

• Produce broker events in collaboration with the marketing team.

• Manage the team’s LinkedIn presence.

• Implement a unified CRM system to track calls, emails, and client interactions.

• Coordinate lease administration tasks and documents, including rent rolls, tenant invoices, and lease abstraction, in conjunction with the lease administration coordinator.

Requirements

Background & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree

• 3+ years of business experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Willingness to obtain a Tennessee real estate license within 90 days of hire date*

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong research skills

• Ability to multitask

• Ability to take direction from multiple sources

• Knowledge of commercial real estate terminology and nomenclature preferred but not required.

• High attention to detail

Physical Requirements

• Involves work of a general office nature typically includes extended periods of sitting and/or operation of a computer for up to 8 hours a day

• In-person work required
