Christ Methodist Day School seeks an Interim 5th Grade Math teacher beginning in late February 2026. The interim must be passionate about teaching and fostering excitement in elementary students. He or she should be willing to try new things, embrace new technology and curriculum, while also adhering to the many traditions that CMDS holds dear. An understanding of assessing children, as well as a knowledge and love of math, is a must. Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in education or a related field; prior teaching experience; the ability to be an active participant on the grade-level teaching team, understanding of and the ability to teach math; an understanding of and familiarity with a balanced approach to technology; and a genuine love of children’s education.
