Job Summary: The Training Program Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight and execution of training initiatives across all branches, ensuring compliance, competency, and continuous professional development. This role integrates role-based training, qualification validation, and personal growth elements into a cohesive learning framework that supports organizational goals. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the Training Program Manager makes critical decisions with minimal guidance to ensure training programs meet organizational standards and objectives.

Location: Candidate must be local to the Memphis, TN area with willingness to travel to branch locations (~25% annually).

Key Responsibilities:

  • · Branch Training Oversight
    • Manage and monitor branch training completion review processes.
  • Independently identify gaps and implement corrective actions without escalation.
  • · Role-Based Training Development
    • Design and implement role-specific training programs aligned with operational needs.
  • Make strategic decisions on content, delivery methods, and timelines with minimal supervision.
  • · Professional Development Integration
    • Embed personal and professional development components into training curricula.
  • Proactively introduce innovative approaches to enhance employee growth and engagement.
  • · Qualification Management
    • Oversee qualification currency and validation processes using qualification matrix analysis.
  • Exercise independent judgment in maintaining compliance and resolving discrepancies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Workforce Education, Training & Development, Human Resources, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in training program management, instructional design, or workforce development.
  • Proven ability to design and implement training programs across multiple locations.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for compliance and qualification management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to influence and drive change.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in crane & rigging or heavy equipment industry (or willingness to learn).
  • Certifications in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, or Lean Six Sigma.
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms and e-learning technologies.
