• Improve PEG’s and the Barnhart team’s project equipment performance.
• Develop and execute on the most effective strategy for equipment operation that balances up time, total cost of demobilization, performance and cost control.
• Develop a maintenance team and culture that is aligned with Barnhart processes, values, and business model.

Competencies:

• Continuous Development: Must understand and possess servant leadership skills; has a self-driven thirst for knowledge and understanding of equipment and maintenance improvement.
• Team Building: Must possess excellent communication skills and an ability to build relationships within the Project Equipment Group and Partner Branches.
• Empowered to implement solutions to documentation, planned maintenance and maintenance team organizational problems
• Knowledge of Barnhart equipment; its operation and maintenance needs
• 2-5 years of lattice boom crawler crane knowledge or experience.
• Highly proficient computer skills (Microsoft Suites).

Responsibilities and Principal Duties:

• Lead the team in such a way that efficient work is performed in shops and on remote equipment.
• Proactive specific preventative and corrective maintenance plans for equipment staged remotely.
• Reduce the total cost of maintenance through tracking benchmarks of planned maintenance tasks.
• Oversight of invoice payments and labor costs allocated to the branch.
• Develop relationships with branch network maintenance leads improving both PEG and Barnhart nationwide maintenance culture.
• Develop team members through training classes on Barnhart equipment and 3rd party sources.
• Perform Job observations and shop audits to ensure safety practices are being followed.
• Perform evaluations on performance of team members and development next steps.
