Strategic National Program Manager
Position Summary:
The Strategic National Program Manager (SNPM) is responsible for managing and leading the growth and development of commercial accounts assigned to a portfolio. The SNPM works in partnership with Commercial Sales and Store Operations teams to exceed customers’ expectations by delivering WOW! Customer Service to all AZ Commercial accounts by Living the Pledge every day.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Assists the Commercial Leadership with analyzing market data and developing customer development plans that will result in driving profitable Commercial sales.
· Develops and implements long-term, strategic plans focused on significantly growing our Commercial National Account business.
· Motivates and leads the Commercial Sales Team to increase the productivity level and market products to enhance sales and profits.
· Identify, assess, and target national corporate accounts contracting opportunities that will financially benefit the growth of the Company.
· Conduct business reviews and follow up with assigned customers on a regular basis to review business strategic relationships, trends, historic purchase patterns, and explore opportunities to expand product portfolio with contracted customers.
· Develop and build C-Suite relationships within the portfolio.
· Develops market analysis and action plans for Commercial National Accounts.
· Develops and maintain high visibility with account key decision-makers and decision-influencers to advance business opportunities.
- Clearly communicate the progress of period/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
- Forecast and track key account metrics.
- Identifies growth opportunities within Territory/Region/Division or nationally and collaborates appropriately to ensure execution of the plan.
- Represent AutoZone by attending trade shows and other industry-related events.
- Visits commercial accounts and ensures accounts are serviced and deliveries are made as promised.
- Maintains a safe working environment while ensuring AutoZoners are implementing those practices including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
· Maintains strong relationships with current and existing Commercial customers while obtaining new business with shop owners in the assigned portfolio.
· Executes sales and marketing plans targeted at National, Regional, and local Commercial customers.
· Analyzes sales reports and takes appropriate action.

Performs other related duties as required.
REQUIRED:
· 5 years of business-to-business sales experience, with 3+ years in sales management.
· Travel minimum of 70% of time.
· Relentless pursuit of new profitable business and penetration of current accounts.
· Strong understanding of financial statements and financial planning.
· Excellent leadership skills.
· Ability to create and execute customer development plans.
· Ability to analyze sales reports and take appropriate action.
· Understanding of P&L statement and gross profit.
· Strong communication, negotiation, organization, and leadership skills.
· Integrity, honesty, passion, drive, and the desire for success.
· Excellent customer service skills.
Educations: Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
