The Commercial Strategic Initiatives Project Manager works cross functionally to develop, implement and refine Commercial Operations processes and procedures.
- Develops, designs and makes recommendations on new business processes to improve efficiencies
- Directs, manages, tests and organizes project plan priorities and work with other functional groups to insure completion and implementation
- Acts as lead for some strategic cross-functional projects
- Conducts research to determine best practices throughout the industry to be used as benchmark to success
- Improves upon and implements best practices
- Assures timely completion of project tasks within budget
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business Management, Logistics, IT or related field of study
- Relevant store/field experience may substitute for Bachelor’s Degree
- In depth store knowledge of systems and process
- Ability to think outside of the box to include new technologies
- Previous retail experience
- Automotive aftermarket retail experience a plus
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment in collaboration with Information Technology development teams
