SUMMARY
Real Estate Development Manager identifies sites, reviews all due diligence reports and supporting information to determine the suitability and viability of specific locations and evaluate and communicate risk.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Develop broker network
· Negotiates and presents sites to the Executive Committee
· Discover and evaluate probable new sites within assigned trade areas
· Travels to assigned markets to become knowledgeable of existing stores, potential new sites, competition activity, new or planned retail/residential projects and demographic changes
· Analyzes research data to confirm trade areas, sales volume projections, competition, physical and ethnic barriers and provide feedback and recommendations
· Negotiates and delivers the required quantity of quality deals from assigned markets
· Negotiates all aspects of the real estate transaction including time frames, financial terms and legal issues while protecting AutoZone's interests
REQUIREMENTS
· Three to five years of real estate experience preferred
· Strong negotiating, persuasion, and communication skills
· Strong verbal and written communication and skills
· Ability to travel up to 70%
· Ability to manage multiple projects in various phases of completion across various functional groups
· Proficient with Microsoft Office products
· Ability to handle multiple projects with conflicting deadlines
